There's a lot of confusion among students about the new CUCET 2022 and CUET 2022 exams. On Monday, the University Grants Commission (UGC) came up with a new notice and announced that undergraduate admission to any of the 45 central universities in the country is now required to take the Central University Entrance Test (CUET).
WHAT IS CUET 2022?
CUET is a revamped version of CUCET and it's now compulsory for all 45 central universities to adopt it. For more clarity, the Central University Common Entrance Test, CUCET 2022 has been renamed as Common University Entrance Test, CUET 2022.
All universities under UGC (Central Universities) will now follow CUET for both undergraduate and postgraduate admissions.
The CUET examination would be for undergraduate courses in science, arts and commerce. Candidates must note that IGNOU, Agriculture University and Aviation University are likely not to use CUET scores.
