CUET UG 2022 to be conducted in two phases, Phase 2 admit card on July 31: UGC Chairman

CUET 2022 Exam for UG Admissions is set to begin in a few days. UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar has shared some important details regarding the conduct of the CUET UG Exam. As per the chairman, CUET UG 2022 would be conducted in two phases and the admit card for the Phase 2 exams will be released end July. Details below

Common University Entrance Test, CUET UG 2022 is scheduled to begin in a few days. CUET Exam for UG Admissions would begin from July 15, 2022 onwards. Just days before the CUET exam, the UGC Chairman, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar has shared some important details regarding the conduct of the CUET UG Exam.
NTA released the dates for the CUET UG exams on June 26, 2022. As per the official notice, CUET UG is scheduled to take place from July 15, 16, 19 and 20, 2022 and then once again from August 4 to 10, 2022. Speaking about the dates, the UGC Chairman clarified that the CUET Exam has been divided into two phases.
CUET UG Phase 1 Exam will be conducted from July 15 onwards and the CUET UG Phase 2 Exam would be conducted starting from August 4, 2022. CUET UG is scheduled to be held in 500 cities in India and 10 cities outside India.
In the Phase 1 exams nearly 8 lakh 10 thousand students are participating and for the Phase 2 exams, nearly 6 lakh 80 thousand students will be participating. The UGC Chairman also further added that the CUET Admit Card for the Phase 2 Exams would be released on July 31, 2022 on the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in.
The CUET Admit Cards for the Phase 1 Exams will be released today, July 12, 2022 by NTA. The exam city slips for the nearly 14 lakh candidates who registered for the CUET 2022 Exam were released by the National Testing Agency on July 11, 2022.
For the exam city for CUET 2022, UGC Chairman has stated that 97 to 98 percent of students will be given their first choice of city and only 2 percent of students would be given their second choice of city to appear for the CUET exam.
The University Grants Commission Chairman further encouraged students to not panic and focus on preparing for their exams and extended his best wished to all 14 lakh plus students appearing for the CUET 2022 Exam.
